Welcome to Athlemic. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Athlemic, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Athlemic. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile.
You may not impersonate another person or create fraudulent profiles.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (videos, photos, profile information).
By uploading content, you grant Athlemic a non-exclusive license to display it within the app for the purpose of providing our services.
You must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on others' rights.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
Send spam or unsolicited messages
Attempt to access other users' accounts
Use automated tools to scrape data from the app
Upload false or misleading performance data

6. User Roles

Athletes: Profile information and uploaded videos will be visible to registered clubs and scouts on the platform.

Clubs and Scouts: You may contact athletes through the in-app messaging system. All communication must be professional and respectful.

7. Messaging

Athletes may accept or decline conversation requests. Blocked users cannot send further messages. Misuse of the messaging system may result in account suspension.

8. Intellectual Property

The Athlemic name, logo, and app design are the property of Athlemic. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

Athlemic does not guarantee any signing, contract, or employment outcome.
We do not verify the identity or credentials of clubs and scouts beyond the information they provide.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athlemic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the country where you reside.
